Hello Friends 😁 Today we are taking about Crop Season.
There are three distinct crop seasons, namely Kharif, Rabi and Zaid.,
Crop Season :- Kharif, Rabi and Jaid

There are three main crop seasons in our country: Kharif, Rabi and Zaid.
1., Kharif Crop :- Kharif season crop is based on rainfall. These crops require high temperature and humidity for good growth. And the weather should be clear at the time of harvesting.
The time of sowing of these crops is from June to July. And the time of harvesting is done from September to October. Most of the crops are harvested from October to the first week of November.
Example of Kharif Crops - Among these, the main crops of Kharif are - Paddy, Maize, Groundnut, Soyabean, Millet, Jowar, Cowpea, etc.
2. Rabi Crop :- It is a winter season crop. These crops require cool climate. The sowing time of these crops is done between October to December and harvesting is done from February to April.
These crops require less temperature and less water.
Example of Rabi Crops- The main crops of Rabi are wheat, gram, peas, lentils, mustard, rye, potatoes etc.
3. Zaid Crop :- The sowing of Zaid crops is done in the month of February to March. And its harvesting is done between April to May. It has the ability to tolerate drought. These crops require artificial irrigation.
Example of Zaid Crops - Watermelon, muskmelon, gourd, cucumber, Ridge gourd, moong, cucumber, chilli, leafy vegetables etc.
