necessary ingredients :-
Essential ingredients for Mushroom Production :-
You need some materials for mushroom production -
● Mushroom seeds (Mushroom spawn) - These will be available in any agriculture institute in your city or you can also buy them online from Amazon.
Mushroom Spawn● 1 to 2 inch chopped husk of wheat or paddy.
● 1×1.5 feet polythene bag - which you will find in any hardware shop.
● Formalin and Bavistin, if these two are not available then we will tell further what to do.
● Water, drum and sprayer bottle.
Procedure of Mushroom Production :-
Friends, we are going to tell you its method step by step so that you can understand everything after reading it.
◆ You have to take about 100 liters of water in a big drum or you can take it according to your requirement of how many mushrooms you want to produce.
◆ Now mix Bavistin - 10 grams and Formalin Solution - 10 ml in this 100 liters of water.
◆ If Bavistin and formalin are not available, wheat or paddy curd can be boiled in hot water. So that the fungus or bacteria present in it gets destroyed.
◆ Now mix the wheat or paddy husk in this drum by dipping it well and keep it immersed for about an hour so that whatever harmful bacteria or fungus may be destroyed.
◆ Now spread the husk or straw soaked with Formalin and Bavistin for one hour on a well-cleaned floor and let it dry a little. Keep in mind that there should be so much moisture in the kutti that by pressing it in the fist, one or two drops of water drips.
◆ Now this husk is ready for sowing. Before sowing, the mushroom spawn which is in a polythene packet is slightly frozen, break it into small pieces with clean hands and keep it on a clean plate.
◆ Friends, now it is the turn to sow, so for sowing you have to take a polythene bag of 1 × 1.5 feet.
◆ Now the prepared husk has to be spread in a polythene bag to make a layer of about 3 inches from the bottom and a layer of mushroom seed spawn has to be put on it little by little.
◆ In the same way, after sowing, you have to make a layer of three-three inches of straw again and put mushroom seeds Spawn in between and sow. (see image)
◆ Similarly you can make 3 to 4 layer in one bag means you can sow 3 to 4 times in one bag. See in the image.
◆ After sowing three to four times, put a layer of husk in the topmost and last layer and keep it in such a way that the upper part of the polythene is made for tying it well.
◆ You have to be careful that before touching the mushroom spawn in your hands, clean your hands thoroughly.
You can see in the image how to sow seeds in 4 layers in one bag.
◆ Now after the sowing is done, close the mouth of the bag by folding or twisting it well by applying a rubber band or tie it well in a rope.
◆ Now make about 10 to 15 holes in this seeded bag with the help of a pen from bottom to top on all sides so that air exchange can take place.
◆ Now this seeded ready bag can be hanged in a clean and tidy room on a table or a wooden frame or by tying it all around with a rope at certain intervals.
◆ Keep in mind that there should be window and darkness in the room.
◆ Now after about two-three days, you will see that the fungus nets start spreading in the bag.
◆ Friends, control of insects is very important in mushroom production, for this you keep spraying Bavistin and formalin solution from time to time.
◆ After 15 to 17 days of keeping the bag, the fungus traps spread well in it and become solid. If you want, you can separate the polythene by cutting it with a clean blade or you can pierce the polythene bag from place to place. But it will make a difference to your production.
◆ Between this, you should have a temperature of 20-30°C and a humidity of about 80 to 90%. For this you have to spray the walls of the room daily.
◆ After removing the polythene, small mushrooms or pin heads start coming out in 1-2 days.
◆ Friends, mushroom production starts in 20 to 25 days after sowing.
◆ Now let's talk about the harvesting of mushrooms, we have to hold the mushroom and break it by turning it left or right.
So friends, we hope that whatever information we wanted to tell you, you have understood it very well.
