In Inorganic Agriculture, farmers use various types of chemical fertilizers, chemical pesticides, herbicides in the greed of increasing the yield.  Due to this the yield of the crop is high but the quality of such crop decreases.

There are many disadvantages of Inorganic Agriculture like -

• The quality of the crop gets reduced due to which the farmer is not able to get its fair price.

• Inorganic farming reduces the fertility of the soil.

• Most of the farmers use crop residues as fodder to feed the animals after the harvest, which affects the health of the animals.

• The use of chemical fertilizers, insecticides, and herbicides, which are beneficial insects for agriculture, also have an adverse effect, due to which these beneficial insects which are called friendly insects of the farmer in agriculture are destroyed.

• Inorganic agriculture also has a very bad effect on our environment.

 Friends, organic agriculture is the opposite of inorganic agriculture.  In which farming is done without harming our environment, animals and maintaining the fertility of the soil.

In organic farming, without using chemical fertilizers, chemical pesticides and chemical herbicides.

organic manure, dung manure, urine, compost manure, green manure and vermi compost (earthworm manure) are used, which does not cause any harm to the environment, that is, it  Is eco-friendly.  (There is very little use of chemicals i.e. minimal)


That is why today the whole world is promoting organic agriculture.  Now you must be thinking that why organic farming is being promoted so much in today's time? 

So you people must know that when the Green Revolution was brought in our country (in 1967-68), the use of new and big machines used in agriculture and various types of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and chemical drugs.  

It was used, due to which the yield started increasing, but it is said that whatever is a boon for us, sometimes it also becomes a curse.  Due to this the earth became toxic, the fertility of the soil got depleted and it also started having an adverse effect on nature.

 To deal with all these ill effects, today emphasis is being made towards organic agriculture.  And today the situation is that the whole world is moving towards organic agriculture.


Benefits Of Organic Agriculture: -

 Let us now know what are the benefits of Organic Farming?

1. The first advantage of organic agriculture is that organic manures are used in it, due to which the fertility of the soil remains, which increases the quality and yield of the crop.

2. No toxic chemicals are found in the food obtained from organic farming.  So it is good and beneficial for our health.

3. There is an increase in the economic benefits of the farmers because there is more demand for such crops, food items and fruits in the market, due to which they also get good price in the market.

4. Due to less water requirement in organic farming, there is an increase in the underground water source.

5. As already mentioned that the use of chemicals in organic farming is minimal, the cost of farmers is reduced.  Due to which the work becomes financial burden on the farmers.

6. Compost manure, dung manure, vermi manure are used in organic agriculture, due to which waste is also used, it does not spread pollution.
